Specialties
I specialize in early childhood mental health, relational trauma, and working with the Asian American population.
In early childhood mental health, the focus is on nurturing young children's emotional and behavioral growth through age-appropriate interventions, often involving collaborative work with families and schools, and employing child-parent play therapy to foster healthy attachments.
For relational trauma, I address the complex effects of trauma within relationships, including issues related to adoption, foster care, interpersonal conflicts, betrayal, and domestic violence, all through trauma-informed care.
Additionally, special attention is given to the unique experiences of Asian Americans, such as intergenerational trauma, intracommunity conflicts, and the specific needs of transracial adoptees, with culturally sensitive therapy that supports identity, belonging, and healing across generations.
