Bilingual Korean-Speaking

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

in San Francisco

I am a bilingual Korean-speaking Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #137496, practicing under the supervision of Davida Taurek, LPCC #6939 at Courageous Counseling Center. I provide both Telehealth in California and in-person therapy in San Francisco.

Welcome to my psychotherapy practice.

You’re accomplished, capable, and used to managing life on your own. From the outside, things may look successful, yet inside you feel emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or caught in patterns that are hard to change in your relationships, parenting, or work. Family wounds, high-pressure decisions, or conflict with your child may bring up deeper emotions and old experiences you thought you had moved past. In therapy, we slow things down to gently understand these patterns with curiosity and compassion, helping you reconnect with yourself, make sense of your experiences, and create more balance and clarity in your life.

I work with high-achieving adults, parents, and couples navigating trauma, stress, and relational challenges. As an Asian immigrant clinician, I provide culturally responsive care that honors identity, family dynamics, and lived experience. My approach is warm, direct, and insight-oriented, helping you understand long-standing patterns and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

You don’t have to keep carrying everything alone. Therapy offers a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and make sense of what has been weighing on you without pressure to perform or have it all figured out. Over time, you can begin to release old patterns and reconnect with a stronger sense of clarity and self-trust. When you’re ready, I would be honored to support you in that process.
